Terms of use

The framework (MIT licence)

emilyCSS (the emily-css npm package) is open-source software released under the MIT licence. You can use it, modify it, and distribute it freely in commercial and non-commercial projects. The full licence text is in the GitHub repository.

In plain terms: use it however you like, keep the copyright notice in the source if you redistribute it, and don't hold us liable for anything.

Component packs (commercial licence)

Component packs are premium add-ons, not yet available. When they launch, they will be sold under a separate commercial licence. That licence will cover:

  • Use in unlimited client projects for a single purchaser
  • No redistribution as a standalone product
  • No reselling or repackaging

Full terms will be published before any purchase is possible.

The course

The course, when available, is sold as a one-time purchase for personal use. The content (videos, examples, and written material) is owned by Andy Terry and may not be redistributed, shared, or resold.

This website

The content on emilyui.com (copy, documentation, design) is copyright Andy Terry. The code examples in the documentation are provided for you to use freely in your own projects.

No warranties

emilyCSS is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about fitness for a particular purpose, uptime of this site, or the accuracy of the documentation. Use it at your own discretion.
